TIFFIN, OHIO– January 19, 2022. Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC, one of the largest, independent, healthcare distributors in the U.S., announces the launch of a new employee volunteer program named Concordance in the Community. Encouraging Concordance employees to give their time and their talents, this program allows staff members to volunteer in their community during their normal working hours, up to 8 hours annually.

“Employees can choose to volunteer at any non-profit organization, public or private schools, health care facilities or public charity,” explains Doreen Nersesian, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Concordance. “Our purpose as a company is to positively impact the lives of our employees, our healthcare providers and the patients they serve each and every day. We make a positive impact through our service to healthcare providers across the country and through a variety of programs aimed at expanding our purpose into the lives of our employees and the communities we serve.”

Nersesian goes on to describe internal programs such as Concordance’s Inclusive Hire program that is aimed at partnering with local and state agencies to offer employment opportunities to individuals that are differently-abled. In addition, Concordance is working to improve our employee benefits and offerings to make them more effective and resourceful.

“These programs, along with our newly launched Concordance in the Community volunteer program, are the start of a more robust employee-centered culture,” Nersesian adds, “ensuring that our amazing team members who support Concordance with unwavering dedication are receiving the same support in return.”
