Thankful Thoughts from Concordance CEO, Lisa Hohman

This time of year, it’s tradition to think about what we’re most thankful for, but what does it mean to be thankful? Is it simply feeling pleased or content? Is it about expressing gratitude and readily sharing appreciation and returning kindness with others? Or is it about internally recognizing the things and people in our lives? Maybe it’s all of the above.

It’s fitting that the anniversary of the merger between the formerly independent distributors – Kreisers, MMS and Seneca Medical –  that formed Concordance, falls around this time of year. It serves as an annual reminder and opportunity for us to practice that tradition as a company, recognizing how we’ve not only grown in becoming Concordance, but also as Concordance. We have so much to be thankful for and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve the healthcare community.

Appreciation
Concordance has the distribution capacity to aid in the advancement and sustainment of healthcare. We wouldn’t have this opportunity without our customers who use our products and solutions to provide healthcare to the best of their ability. Our customers are responsible for maintaining the health of our communities and our nation. Saying we are thankful for them has seemed like an understatement at best for Concordance over the years.

Commitment
Our employees, new and old, continue to go above and beyond in delivering our quality brand products. Our customers wouldn’t have those products if it weren’t for our suppliers and our incredible teams of Concordance employees. From warehouse pickers to drivers, account managers and our leadership team, day in and day out every employee contributes not only to our success, but also to the mutual success of our supplier partners and customers across the continuum of care. As our purpose continues to expand and our company grows, we look to celebrate all that we have to be thankful for at this moment.

Lisa Hohman – Concordance CEO
“Once again, it’s the time of the year when we gather around the table with our families and pause to reflect on that which we are thankful. This year, in addition to family and friends, I’m thankful for the privilege to serve as the leader of Concordance. It is truly an honor to work with dedicated employees, the leadership team and our board members,” says Hohman.

She continues, “Tomorrow, set aside for giving thanks, offers a special opportunity to reflect on our many blessings and to be grateful for the gifts we have received. We are mindful of those less fortunate and struggling in our country and our world. Thanksgiving is an invitation to rededicate ourselves to the medical distribution field in a way that could make a difference to our suppliers, customers and patients.”

Hohman states, “As we enter the fourth year of our operations as Concordance, now more than ever, we welcome your ideas and comments to enhance the ability to meet the needs of healthcare distribution now and in the future. While we have made great strides forward, as always there is still work to be done—but when we come together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.”

From the Concordance family to your family, we wish everyone a great holiday season!

Happy Thanksgiving
